Some of us complain because its late. But then &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It bursts onto the stage &#8230; bigger and better than we&#8217;d dreamed! All is forgiven and we Rock out all summer long. And here we are expecting Fall, but the summer show keeps coming at us. Nice.<\/p>\n<p>But, it&#8217;s time to get back to the computer, the blog, the music. I will do my\u00a0 best to catch you up succinctly without missing any juicy bits.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Freeman, who used to play with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/patsajakassassins\" target=\"_blank\">The Pat Sajak Assassins<\/a> before he moved to <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Seattle\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=47.6097222222,-122.333055556&amp;spn=0.1,0.1&amp;q=47.6097222222,-122.333055556 (Seattle)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Seattle,<\/a> brought in a project last weekend. The goal &#8211; write and record a song for this sculpture:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/soundhouserecording.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/09\/redwood.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-271 alignleft\" title=\"redwood\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/soundhouserecording.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/09\/redwood.jpg?w=221\" width=\"199\" height=\"270\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 He brought with him Dustin Carroll (drums), and Kris Couture (bass), while I attempted to add some bass\/moogerfoogerin&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Goal accomplished, mix is in progress!<\/p>\n<p>We all played in the Live Room, no headphones using all Neve (OHs, Tom\/Floor, guitar), Chandler (bass\/DI), UA 2-610 (Kick &amp; Snare) and Great River (ribbons &#8211; Royer 121 on the side of the snare, Coles 3048 on kit body). Very nice sounds!
